Yet for some accessing its smallest marvels to most majestic vistas is a challenge. Often hidden from view are such treasures as prairie sunrises along a country road, what may take root in urban sidewalk cracks, or even a once lovingly cared for kitchen window box now neglected by unwelcome circumstances.

Without doubt, it has been my good fortune to wander and wonder near and far in natural places on foot, canoe or other means to focus with camera in hand on whatever catches my eye.
